Launching a world’s first ultrasound device

The Challenge

Launch the world’s first intense therapeutic ultrasound (ITU) device into UK media, helping to translate and communicate the complex scientific messaging to a mainstream audience.

The Strategy

Working with Guided Therapy Systems, we developed a campaign focusing on the alternative to conventional therapy that helps overcome chronic pain that favoured the device and would resonate with the target audience to encourage asking questions about alternative, surgery-free options.

The Execution

Launching the ‘Invisible Scalpel’ to consumer trade and national press in the UK where there were no devices in operation we partnered with media medic Dr Hilary Jones to leverage his credibility and influence.

The Results

Within several weeks of launching, we garnered over 52 pieces of coverage in national and consumer publications with over 13 million impressions and a 95% key message delivery helping to propel the device into the UK media and spark a conversation about alternative chronic pain treatment options.
