KWT Global Named 2019 SABRE + Shorty Awards Finalists

KWT Global, an MDC Partners Inc. agency, has been named a category finalist by The Holmes Report for three North America SABRE Awards in recognition of the firm’s work on behalf of OkCupid, Dia&Co, and The ALS Association. In addition, The Shorty Awards, which recognize people and organizations producing real-time short form content across social media, short-listed KWT Global’s work with both OkCupid and The ALS Association for like-minded categories.

This acknowledgment follows a year of double-digit growth for KWT Global, during which the firm continued to drive results on behalf of its clients through programs that blend best-in-class brand strategy, content creation, media and influencer engagement, event planning and digital asset production.

KWT Global’s Effie Award-winning work alongside OkCupid is up for best in Web Based Business at the North America SABRE Awards, as well as LGBTQ Community Engagement at this year’s Shorty Awards. KWT Global’s editorial-first approach, which followed the successful launch of OkCupid’s DTF marketing campaign, helped to launch the dating platform’s newest profile feature: pronouns, which empowered gender non-conforming daters to openly share their pronouns in their profile – never before seen on a leading dating app.

Shortly after being named agency of record for Dia&Co, personal styling and plus size clothing for women exclusively in sizes 14-32, KWT Global helped the brand to launch a new Active offering and #FitToThrive campaign. The unveiling, nominated for the Marketing to Women category, featured a partnership with Venus Williams, Candice Huffine and Shelbi Vaughan among others, a NYC launch event and open conversation about size inclusivity, and the largest selection of plus-size activewear online.

As part of a long-term partnership with The ALS Association, KWT Global supported the exciting reveal of Project Revoice, a program which gave a coveted member of the ALS community his ‘own’ voice back, years after losing the ability to speak due to his condition. This work is a finalist for best in Non-Profit at The Shorty Awards, as well as Not-for-Profit Organizations at the North America SABRE Awards.

The 11th Annual Shorty Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 5, in New York City. North America SABRE Award winners will be announced on the evening of May 7 at the Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.
